Busy Tuesday morning :) and 4 more days to Hope Conference! Hee. This morning I told my girl that Papa and I will be going to class on Saturday and Sunday, and she gave a sad face. But her face instantly lit up when I told her that I will be back home early today to help her with her unfinished Phonics worksheet and read a Princess storybook together. This week, I will be back early every evening after work just to be with my girl! Except for tomorrow, coz my girl has class till 9pm, I will go for a reccee for the food project until 8pm, before going to pick her up.

Saturday was great with the JLP guys over at my place. The 3 kids had fun in the Alethea's toy room while the adults had the junkiest dinner of their life. Dominoes Pizza & KFC haha. Cannot have too much of such food coz we are all getting on in age haha. I've known these people since mid 2007 (except for Belle & Lee whom I've known for over 10 years since Outback days). I miss these ex-colleagues/ friends and I intend to treasure them for life :)

Friendships are really fragile, I realised. I've broken a few of them over the past years, and they aren't really mendable. I am trying my best to be a better friend, to be less judgmental, less critical, to be more accepting and tolerant. Hubby has taught me quite a bit on relationships too. Things like, I shouldnt be imposing my opinion on others/ I shouldnt think that my views are always correct and others' views are always wrong. In fact, I am struggling with a certain friendship right now. Praying for breakthrough soon, coz it's such a thorn in the flesh :(

Oh, I've decided to start my girl on Chinese next year. So, she will go for her first ballet class next Sunday evening. I can so imagine the shrieks she will give me when I tell her about it tonight. She has been really patient about it though, never once did she pester me about wanting to go ballet class (cos I explained to her that I will let her go for ballet class maybe a month after she has settled down in her new kindergarten). Her tutu that my mum bought for her is still sitting in the cupboard and she knows about it. She's just waiting patiently for the day to come where she will wear that and go for her class. :) And I'm proud that I've kept my promise! July has been her settling-down period and she's gg for ballet class on 1st week of August :)
