i have been wondering lately on this topic called love.

last nite, hubby and i were watching 秋香怒点唐伯虎, and there was this scene where 陈法拉 realised that she has fallen in love with 唐伯虎 and she found herself daydreaming about him with a smiley face.

I realised that i don't do that anymore, when i think of hubby. Haha! I suspect that hubby probably realised that too..LOL.

We have been married for 4 years, and I am proud to say that our marriage is actually improving. First 2 years were crap..After we started going church, after our girl grew up, things started getting better. The courtship passion & butterflies in the stomach have taken a back seat. Well, it'll probably resurface when we get a chance to have a proper date i.e. we both dress up nicely and have a day together.. Hmm, then again, i dunno, really!



Now, the close friendship & understanding of each other have sort of taken over. The familiarity of hubby's presence in my life has given me the sense of stability and predictability, which I guess is very important for an aging woman like me wahaha. Of course, God's presence cements our marriage by providing the correct values to abide by! The butterflies in the stomach was nice and exciting, but i now prefer the 'i told you so' little grumblings and good laughs together. It's still lovey-dovey, but in a very sweet & quiet way!
