I'm finally taking a break

For a whole week!

But i wonder if the speed that i've acquired over the past month will vanish once i get back to work.. sigh.

was on half day today, was home at 2pm. freaking scorching roasting hot weather. was famished coz i only had 3-in-1 oat drink at 8am..was busy till 1pm. non-stop clearing emails, checking work, printing instructions...everyone's sending instructions coz its a long weekend. zzz.

seriously, work is draining my life away. Yes i get real occupied with work and it can feel like a nice accomplishment. but after work, Wendy becomes lifeless and zombish. even my classmate commented that i've become so much quieter ever since i started my new job. i no longer have the energy for anything else.

maybe, things will get better when i get even more accustomed to my work pace after a few more months. hopefully.. i just gotta hang on!

another thing abt my job which sucks the life out of me is the 'customer service' i gotta provide to my colleagues. my dept serves everyone in the firm and we are responsible for a lot of things, like assigning of matters to execs, and churning reports for heads. often i can feel that my head's on the chopping board. either that, i get blamed for things which are not my fault but simply because the work was given out by me.

i guess, at my position, a certain kind of such responsibility has to be carried. the same line - GET USED TO IT.

i've been blabbering about work quite a bit. so u can see that i blabber a lot abt work to hubby too. he's also having a hard time at work, so we two blabber together. but i blabber more, coz i'm the wife. wives blabber. lol.

itz gonna be a busy weekend for me and hubby...all the way till CNY Day 2.

CNY Eve (Tomorrow)
Morning - go temple
Afternoon - Reunion lunch at my place with my mum
Late Afternoon - Go inlaws place prepare for reunion dinner all the way till late night
Late Night - unpack the goodies and put them nicely on the rack

CNY Day 1 (Sunday)
All day at inlaws place

CNY Day 2 (Monday)
Morning - go my grandma place
Afternoon - go uncles place/ aunties place all the way till night

CNY Day 3 - 5 (Tue - Thu)
Study Study

CNY Day 6 (Friday)
Celebrate hubby's birthday, prob a movie and lunch before he goes to work at Chingay. zzz.

CNY Day 7 (Saturday)
Go ex-boss place for New Year Lunch. I miss all my JIMLIM colleagues! bringing bb along too, coz hubby has a lunch to attend and cannot take care of her.

Actually my CNY is pretty quiet compared to many others, my family isn't that big to start with. Good also.
