i haven been so drained for a long long time. it has been such a ...:::d r a i n i n g::... week.
I had quite a busy day at work yesterday. Plus, my left foot hurt whenever i try to walk briskly, has been like that for a week. So, yesterday my foot hurt extra badly after a rushed farewell lunch with a colleague from another department. Then, ten minutes before knock off, there was work to do. I ended up leaving at 620pm and ended up brisk walking to the MRT. Ouch.
Finally arrived at Swee Choon after a confusing but interesting walk through the small roads near Mustafa. Jonathan Lee is indeed super familiar with that place! When we reached Swee Choon, we were so grateful for the air con with a ceiling fan!! Feilouship at Swee Choon was fabulous. 8 of us there. Everybody knew me, but they dunno one another. But it was still great! We all were laughing and chatting non-stop. It was unbelieveable. We had great fun eating, talking at the top of our voices (coz it was a big round table) and laughing away at all kinds of jokes. After dinner, most of us went to Carl's place (a nearby condo) for a walk. Coz Claudia was interested to see its facilities ahhaha. We left at about 10pm and me, being the only one who stays in the far north, took the train home.
My poor feet! I walked to farrer park mrt, took a train to serangoon. Alighted and WALKED to take the Circle line train. Alighted at Bishan and WALKED to take the NorthSouth Line train. :``(( by the time i got home..i jus plopped onto my sofa and stared into space.
Thankfully my feet are feeling much better now. I was expecting my feet to get worse today actually, but they got better. Must be my prayer this morning :)
Lunching at Raffles Place is such a nightmare. The rushed farewell lunch was really rushed okay. We went to Raffles Xchange and it was CRAZY. And, there are so many nice shops... temptations at every step. staying in for lunch is a better idea.
Hungry.
