unbelieveable.

politics really can show one's true self. I cannot believe that many of my FB friends have such extreme views on local politics. Singapore is my country, and I love my country for its safety, its cleanliness, its booming economy, its respectable standard of living. Singapore should stay the way it is, and progress to greater heights!
Sadly, I saw one Youtube user's comments on 1 MP Teo Ser Luck. Here it goes:
~
Lawrence sent me this video today. Told me it is the PAP fucker Teo Ser Luck.
I didn't know the cheebyekia speaking power is so lousy one.
Why he even shout his own name at the end? Fucking laokui right?
~
Isn't this defamation???

The hard truth is, the world is never fair. You want to make everyone equal? This thinking equals idealism. It's impossible to achieve absolute equality. Singapore is not too bad, in terms of equality. You don't see beggars or orphans roaming the streets. Maybe over 90% of the population have a roof over their head, from the way I see it. There will definitely be poor people, there will definitely be hungry people. It is impossible to eliminate them! People who promise to eliminate inequality, are simply just building sandcastles in the air.

From the comments I see on FB, it's the non-PAP supporters who have been cursing and swearing non-stop. On the other hand, PAP supporters have been very gracious by choosing not to retaliate.
****i can imagine non-PAP supporters hurling comments at me 'Of coz PAP supporters have nothing to say, coz they know they are wrong!!!'****
Now, people, the truth u know, the news you see, IS IT REALLY THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH? Is it really written/ published with a pure heart without any motives? Also, do you really really really know how the political scene works? Do you really really know the reasons for all the policies/ decisions made? Or do you just assume and accuse?
Truth is, You Don't Know. Dun argue with me on this, unless you are a politician or a candidate yourself.

I do wish that people can see what has been done, instead of what has not been done. Singapore has progressed from a fishing kampong to what it is now. We walk around on the streets in the middle of the night without fearing being raped or robbed. We treat different races with friendliness. No one carries a gun around shooting school children. All these that we are enjoying, are the results of the policies/ legislation that the current government has made.
~
But i see my friends accusing Ministers, calling them pricks, calling them nasty names. I thought only secondary school ah bengs will be able to say such things. To think that my friends, professional working adults with a right-thinking mind, are spouting such immature name-calling activities. I am not trying to act all high and mighty. To me, name-calling simply means disrespect, no manners. Anyone who doesn't respect others, doesn't deserve to be respected. If you dun deserve to be respected, you do not deserve any credibility too. And you want me to support the people you support when you dun deserved to be respected? Enough said.

Opposition parties' candidates are people with a heart to serve the nation. They should have an opportunity to voice out in Parliament, and I support more of such new faces in Parliament fighting for our rights and to provide a check and balance. I just do not agree that they should become the ruling government, simply because they are not qualified to do so. They got no experience, hence no expertise. Simply speaking, I cannot entrust my country to someone whom I dun trust. Sure, opposition candidates consist of very professional people who can inspire people, who can speak well.
~
But can they lead a NATION? Can they manage a NATION? ---> We don't know. I mean, i know of lawyers who can talk damn well, but can't organise even their desk!
~
I am simply very disturbed by the bimbotic/ himbotic way that adult Singaporeans are reacting to this GE, whining, cursing, complaining until no end. If you are unhappy, go join the party officially and do something about it. If not, just shut up.
