I'm slowly starting to conduct informal classes with my girl. I asked her if she wanted to play with my iPhone or if she wanted to do workbook with me, she chose the latter!
She can recognize simple words now! I am so proud of her!
We were doing a science question and I asked her if leaves have a smell. She said no. I brought her to the balcony, plucked a leaf from the promegranate plant. She was reluctant to hold it at first (she has never held a leaf before!). But after seeing me touching the leaf, she did the same and immediately brought it to her nose. And she exclaimed 'Ohhh Yes, got smell!!!' and laughed in excitement.

A simple experiment speaks a thousand words! I pray that I will have such ideas every lesson haha. I also need to go read up on science, seriously. I forgot what elephants eat!

1 lesson learnt - do not stretch the class for too long. towards the end, she got a bit tired. I need to agar agar the time so the lesson ends on a high note!
