South Beach Diet

Foods Allowed in Phase 1

BEEF Lean cuts
LAMB
PORK
POULTRY (SKINLESS)
All types of fish and shellfish
TOFU
EGGS
CHEESE (FAT-FREE OR LOW-FAT)
Almonds
Cashews
Pistachios
Walnuts
Asparagus
Broccoli
Cabbage
Cauliflower
Celery
Cucumbers
Lettuce (All varieties)
Mushrooms
Onion - Limit to 1/2 per day
Snow peas
Spinach
Olive Oil
Canola Oil
Mayonnaise
Horseradish sauce
Candies, hard, sugar-free

Foods NOT Allowed and to be Avoided in Phase 1

ALL starchy food (including rice, pasta, Bread, Cereal, Oatmeal )
Limit Caffeine-Containing Beverages to 1-2 servings per day
Duck
Corn
Chicken, wings and legs
Honey-baked ham
Carrots
Potatoes
ALL fruits and fruit juices
Alcohol of any kind, including beer and wine
Ice cream
Yoghurt
Milk

An overview of the South Beach Diet. I wun be following it strictly, i'll just abstain from staple foods altogether from now on. simpler to remember. lol.

Finally finished my IM notes (did notes for the 8 chapters for the test only) and going to start on my AHRP notes soon. I totally regret staying at home to study yesteeday and today coz my girl is starting to be quite a terror. hubby and i are going to be out tomorrow all day. i'll be back after CG. Guess she had too much of fun over the CNY season and she has grown to be quite naughty.

Life has been quite horrible lately, coz i have been living it without God, practically. I've been chasing after the things i 'need' to do from morning till night. It's very tiring coz I am doing it on my own. sigh.
