I feel a lot for the recent news about the father who murdered his 2 children and thereafter commiting suicide himself.

He killed his 5-year-old son and 3-year-old daughter. Why?? They are just little children, innocent lives with a bright future ahead of them. My heart feels so heavy just typing this. I could imagine their fear and confusion in their eyes during that few seconds when they witnessed their very own father strangling them. What was the father thinking? Did he not realise that he was causing so much harm, so much hurt, even though it was only a few seconds?

It was understandable why the father committed suicide in the end.

It was the guilt that killed him, not the jump.
