glad for the long weekend

the past 2 days were the most intense days after a 6-months relaxed stint.

Yes, I'm back working in the IP field.

I better say this first, before I get accused of changing job all the time. This job approached me ok? :P

This is a different role from the previous one, so there's lots to learn. and I am glad to say, I was able to complete a complicated task without mistakes on the first try at the end of my 2nd day!

and I thank God for blessing me with this job, along with a lot of other little things!

1) I managed to wake up on time on my first day of work!
2) God blessed me with a seat in the MRT! *He knew I was a bit sad about the longer travelling distance*
3) God blessed me with 3 active Christian colleagues in the company. 1 was the HR lady who gave me the orientation, she's from New Creation. The other 2 were ladies from the patent dept who invited me out for lunch. We actually discussed about praying in tongues during lunch! *smiles*
4) 1 of the 2 ladies who went with me for lunch, is also currently with me undergoing training as a backup and she really helps me a lot! really appreciate her so much :)
5) william (in my caregroup) works in the same building as me! He showed me where to take shuttle bus from the mrt, showed me the basement canteen, treated me to a 'first-day-of-work' sandwich! It really helped!
6) God blessed me with a great view from the 30th floor :) my department sits at the extreme corner of the office, and the view is practically 180 degrees around. wonderful!
7) I dabao-ed lunch from the canteen yesterday, mixed rice (1 meat 1 veg) = $2.20!! the quantity's not a lot, but its good for me! cheap!

quite sad that i can only access govt websites, but i guess i will be too busy. on my first 2 days of work, i did not even have time to snack. guess if i stay in during lunch, i will need to find smth to do. or i jus work thru lunch :)

after my 1st day, i was actually feeling quite negative about this new job and i told hubby about it. thankfully the negativity went away quickly and i once again am thankful for everything, although i am very clear that it's gonna be quite a rocky path from now on.

shall enjoy my long weekend first! hehe.
